Privacy Policy — Windfall Allocator

What this app does

Windfall Allocator is a calculator that estimates federal and state income tax on a one-time windfall and helps you plan how to split the remainder across categories like investments, savings, and giving. It runs entirely on your device — there is no account, no login, and no server.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, and have no access to, any of the following:

• Your name, email, or any account information — the app has no accounts
• The windfall amounts, states, or allocations you enter
• Analytics, usage tracking, or advertising identifiers
• Your location, contacts, photos, or any other device data

What's stored, and where

The app saves your current entries and any named scenarios you create so they're there the next time you open it. This is stored locally on your device only, using standard on-device app storage — it is never transmitted anywhere, and we have no way to see it.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored. You can also clear it at any time from your device's app settings (Settings → Apps → Windfall Allocator → Clear storage/data) without uninstalling.

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, regardless of age — it doesn't collect information from anyone at all.

Not financial or tax advice

Windfall Allocator is an educational calculator, not tax, legal, financial, or estate planning advice, and is not affiliated with any trust, investment, or financial institution. Tax figures are estimates and should be verified with a qualified professional before you act on them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does involve data leaving your device — this page will be updated and the change will be noted in the app's Play Store listing.
